Well, I would send ya here, but Plenty of Paper doesn't seem to be there. I'll make one and pm ya. Give me a little bit though - there's probably a reason there isn't a tab for it. Wink

Nice, JD.

Well last night I had nearly the entire song tabbed out, and I wanted to preview what I had before I sent it. But I wasn't signed in, so when I clicked 'preview' it took me to that sign in page. When I signed in, my whole tab had been wiped away. *falls to knees* NOOOOO!! I'll re-do it again today. Sorry for the delay. Listen to what I say. I can make things out of clay, and sit by the bay.....waddya say? Wink

Also, I have gotten in the habit of highlighting and copying large posts before I do anything else with them, just in case something weird happens.

Quote:

Intro: It's just an Emin being stummed a few times:

E-----0-----
B-----0-----
G-----0-----
D-----2-----
A-----2-----
E-----0-----

While the piano does this:

E-------7------7-----7----7-----6--7------7-----7-----7---------------
B---------8------8----------8----------------8-----8--------8--------- -
G-----9-----9-----9----9-----9----------9-----9-----9----------9------
D--------------------------------------------------------------------- ----
A--------------------------------------------------------------------- ----
E--------------------------------------------------------------------- ----

E-------7------7-----7----7-----6--7------7-----7---------------------
B---------8------8----------8----------------8--------8--------------- --
G-----9-----9-----9----9-----9----------9-----9----------9------------
D--------------------------------------------------------------------- ----
A--------------------------------------------------------------------- ----
E--------------------------------------------------------------------- ----

Verse: Emin and C

E-----0-----0-----
B-----0-----1-----
G-----0-----0-----
D-----2-----2-----
A-----2-----3-----
E-----0-----------

Prechorus: If your just going to strum it, I would just use F, A, Dmin, F, Bmin flat5, and F.

E-----1-----0-----1-----1----(1)-----1-----
B-----1-----2-----3-----1-----3------1-----
G-----2-----2-----2-----2-----4------2-----
D-----3-----2-----0-----3-----3------3-----
A-----3-----0------------3-----2------3-----
E-----1------------------1-------------1-----

But if you want to 'kick it up a notch', then you could arpeggiate these chords: F, Aaug5, Dmin, F, Bmin flat5, and F sus2.

E-----------------(1)----------1-------8------
B-----1-----2-----3-----1-----3-------8------
G-----2-----2-----2-----2-----4------10-----
D-----3-----3-----3-----3----(3)-----10-----
A-----------(4)-------------------------8------
E-----------------------------------------------

Whatever sounds good to you.

Chorus: C, Dmin, C-G-C Dmin, Dmin, C.

E-----0-----8------1----5-----0--3--0--1-----1---0--0-----
B-----1-----8------3----6-----1--3--1--3-----3---3--1-----
G-----0-or--9------2-or-7-----0--0--0--2-----2---2--0-----
D-----2-----10----0----7------2--0--2--0-----0---0---2-----
A-----3-----10----------5-----3--X--3----------------3-----
E------------8---------------------3--------------------------

Verse and Prechorus: Same.

Chorus: Same as first Chorus, except repeat the first part twice.

E-----0-----1-----0----1-----0--3--0--1-----1---0--0-----
B-----1-----3-----1----3-----1--3--1--3-----3---3--1-----
G-----0-----2-----0----2-----0--0--0--2-----2---2--0-----
D-----2-----0-----2----0-----2--0--2--0-----0---0--2-----
A-----3----------- 3----------3--X--3----------------3-----
E---------------------------------3--------------------------

Bridge: Amin, C, Amin7, F, Amin, F, F#min flat5, and D.

E-----0-----3-----3-----1-----0-----1-----5-------2------2-----
B-----1-----1-----1-----1-----1-----1-----7-------1------3-----
G-----2-----0-----2-----2-----2-----2-----5--or--2-------2-----
D-----2-----2-----2-----3-----2-----3-----7------(4)-----0-----
A-----0-----3-----0-----3-----0-----3----------------------------
E------------------------1------------1----------------------------

Chorus: Same as second chorus. End on C.

And there ya have it! If you have any questions, comments, corrections etc... feel free to give me a shout. Some of the chords are a little out of line, but I can't do anything about it. Eh oh well. Have fun!

I know this probably dosnt really belong here, but...I can read sheet music, right? (Yes, Kyle, you can.) But I really do not understand tab. Could someone please explain it to me? Or...is there some way to convert it to sheet music?

it kind of easy .. there are six lines each stands for one string on the guitar e,b,g,d,a,E the frist line standing for the first string on your guitar
e(--------------
b(--------------
g(-------2------
d(--------------
a(--------------
E(--------------
and so on .the next thing you need to know is that each
number tells you which string will be palyed and at which
fret .if there was a 2 on the g string you would press down
g string at the second fret making the A note .if there was zero then you would play the string unfretted.ummm ..cords are the same except all the notes that make up the chord would be alined telling you to play them at the same time .uhhh everyone pretty much uses the same basic rules when making a tab but not all the same symbols like some people use * at the bottom of the tabs to indicate palm muting and others use periods . most times they will tell you what each symbol represents...
e(------0------- ..
b(------0-------
g(------0-------
d(------2-------
a(------2-------
E(------0-------
* sorry i suck at explaining things but i hope this helps
