You had one of these as a kid. Everyone under 30 did probably. Or maybe I'm just in a twilight zone. Either way....I know I used mine for not only sand...but water, a toy box, a tent, and maple syrup. Good stuff, eh?

My grandparents have a blue one with this sweet orange lid that has molded roads and streams and stuff, so if you fill the to with water you can play with boats on it.

I was an apartment dweller until I was 15, so no sand turtles for me.

I have seen them filled with beer though. T'was quite a sight to behold.
