Ok, so I got my license a little more than two weeks ago, and I find that driving around during night time with all the windows down, and my music playing is one of the most relaxing things ever.
Too bad my car likes to consume 9 million gallons of gas per mile.
But anyway, does anyone else do this regularly?

I try to do this when I can, but I don't have my own car, so I usually have to resort to using my parents car.

It isn't bad except that cops here take great exception to anyone driving around at 1am.

Rumble strips are hillarious.
My teacher had an idea that since rumble strips have different notes sometimes because of their size and stuff, that when you enter a toll booth, they should be placed in such a way that they play a song to you.
They were amazing ever since.

I've always enjoyed riding around at night and listening to music....and thinking about stupid things like girls....but nothing beats the feeling of driving around jaded listening to some good tunes....

I just listen to anything I know the words to and can singalong with. I have my mp3 player plugged into my car so I've basically got a library of 700 songs to choose from when I venture on a night drive, and it's great.
There's really nothing else like it. Your head's clear and you're just driving around aimlessly (to a point I guess) with good music in the air.

I live for long drives, with the windows down, music playin', singin along, enjoying life, and not a care in the world. Eisley is good music for such occasions.

I like Fruit Bats, "Mouthfuls" for late night drives, along with Over the Rhine "Ohio" and "Drunkards Prayer."

If I need to stay awake, or am with friends, I listen to Decemberists cause we like to sing along loud to that. Especially fun ones with accordians. Or the Ditty Bops. Another good sing along.

Yeah, that feeling is amazing. I love just driving and thinking and listening to music. Thinking about the complications in my life and what not. If I'm in the mood for something loud, I usually go with Fall Out Boy or All American Rejects or something. If I'm in the mood for something soft, I'll go Coldplay, Dashboard or something like that.

Good times.

Most of the driving that I've experienced at night was before I got Room Noises so I voted Classic Rock. And also because my family's van doesn't have a cd player.
