wow... I'm shocked but at the same time not. If anyone had read any of Jon's last few xanga entrys, he was sort of forshadowing his departure. Crying or Very sad None the less tis a sad day. We will miss you Jon.

Well I just read this after Kris put it put on it her lj community, I'm shocked.

Good Luck to Jon in everything and anything he decides to do next.
On an entirely selfish note I will never get to see Jon play with Eisley again, just that once Sad

best of everything to jon, and best of everything to eisley. having to stop for a minute to asses the limb that just fell off isn't easy i'm sure.

wish i could come out to see the band with jon once more.

wow.
this was posted like a minute after I got off the comp. last nite.
out of no where, I find myself reading the most shocking news this morning.
I will now dedicate this day to devout reflection of jon and all that he has done for the band.
I hope you will too.

New managment ... exciting.

Jonathan leaving ... sad.

Jon, you are always the kindess of souls. Never rushed, in the moment. Always, taking extra time for conversation. Many fans and others will always remember you for that. I know this was a very difficult decision due to the bonds formed. But it is only taking another form. Now, we can look forward to the future successess for you...and maybe the occassional guest appearence with Eisley. I have sent Boyd photos from many of the shoots I have done since Novemeber of 2002. You are welcome to them as well.See you at the Fillmore if not sooner.

Change is the only constant in life. For good or bad, it is always there. I find change hard to take most of the time. I like things to stay the same, but they can't, can they...I know that. I'm glad I got to see Jonathan in his last performace in Dallas. He will be missed.
For those who haven't seen him live, at least there will be a dvd to watch (somewhere down the line). Something is better than nothing...
I watched Lance Armstrong win his 7th Tour de France this morning and hang it up, and now I hear of a member of one of my favorite bands doing the same - big day. I'm sad, but happy too. It will be an exciting future for Jon, and an exciting future for Eisley.
I look forward to watching both ...

P.

Say it aint so Boyd...Say it aint so...... Crying or Very sad Sad news, I met Jon this past Monday (7/18 ) for the first time, and he was pretty damn cool...It was a joy watching and listening to him play both times I've seen them live...I'm positive though that this is the right thing for him because he's still young, and I understand about how he needs to live his life...Because who knows? He might come back for some "special" songs or appearences or even come back to the band...But hey if not, I can still dream can't I?
