wow that's such a coincidence! that happened to me too. except not in new mexico, though - in ozona or ozarka or oz-something-a, texas. actually, 15 miles away from oz-something-a, texas. and it wasn't cuz of gas, it was cuz my radiator busted. and we had to call a tow truck, and then pay way too much to stay in a really cruddy motel for the night.
but other than that, it's the same.

I would say "serves them right for not touring here" but it seems the land of enchantment has cursed them on its own so there's really no need to mutter anything now. Maybe they'll think twice before trying to skip over New Mexico in the future.
