I have been a fan for a while now and in all the bio's etc everybody always talks about how Stacy wrote her first song at age 8. I was just curious as to what the song was. Is it one of the one's they put on a CD or EP or was it never actually recorded for anything?

All that is known about "Michael's Song" is that, when Sherri and Chauntelle refused to let Stacy play music with them, she wrote this song herself. "Michael" was a friend of the DuPrees who tried to commit suicide, and the incident so affected then-eight-year-old Stacy that she wrote the song in response. (According to Kim DuPree, Michael is alive and well and serves as youth pastor.)
