I have been a fan for a while now and in all the bio's etc everybody always talks about how Stacy wrote her first song at age 8. I was just curious as to what the song was. Is it one of the one's they put on a CD or EP or was it never actually recorded for anything? _________________ And I just lie and wait for you to awaken the whispers of poetry that lay dormant in my soul. |

it was called "michaels song" no one has ever heard it http://www.orangegoldandgreen.com/ Orange Gold and Green-Eisley fansite wrote: All that is known about "Michael's Song" is that, when Sherri and Chauntelle refused to let Stacy play music with them, she wrote this song herself. "Michael" was a friend of the DuPrees who tried to commit suicide, and the incident so affected then-eight-year-old Stacy that she wrote the song in response. (According to Kim DuPree, Michael is alive and well and serves as youth pastor.) _________________
