50 would probably good for a start, but make sure the guy knows we'll probably want to reorder. And remember there will be variation in sizes... We'll really only know for sure once everyone has decided on a design and color and posted what size they want.

Once you pick a design make a poll that says "Would you buy this?"

And then order how many people say "yes" and probably a couple extras.

On the Saosin board Tyson (The guy that made them) made 100. Everyone paid 10 dollars to him, no more no less. So it was awesome.

We had a thread that was something like, "If you want a shirt, post your size. Any other posting will be deleted." because the reply number answered how many shirts to get, and the replies themselves gave sizes to get.

polling needs to take place ASAP.

this is brilliant that people are actually taking initiative with this.

Isn't it though? I thought this idea would die so quickly for some reason and I'm so glad that it didn't. I really want one of these shirts, and if you think about it, it might be a good way to identify each other at shows.

This shirt idea reminds me of the part in American History X where Edward Norton's character, Derek, goes to the yard and takes off his shirt and hopes the other Nazis see his swastikas.
