I did a quick search on the forum for an earlier topic, but I came up with nothing useful. As I have been playing punch-buggy recently the idea came to me to ask the Eisleyoids what sort of games they play on the road between shows? Punch-buggy? I spy? Word games? Mind games? Travel connect four? Also, fanatics, feel free to chime in with what you might play if you were on the road. I know some of you want to. On a completely different note, I was watching "Bubble Boy" recently (I love that movie), and for some reason I got a Sherri-vibe from the woman who is holding up that convenience store in New York. Not that she really looks or acts like Sherri, but I just sort of feel like Sherri is really cute and you'd never know that she is actually pointing a really big gun at some asian guy. I play "Hey Cow!" for those who don't know it's where you roll down the windows and each side of the car competes to see who can get the most cows to look at them by yelling "hey cow" out their side of the car. It's the perfect game for people like me who are easily amused and not very bright although it tends to quickly devolve into "hey horse!" "hey dog!" "hey cat!" "hey person!" "hey ugly guy!" "hey rock!" "hey tree!" "hey pile of garbage!" "hey car!" "hey flashing red and blue lights!" "hey police officer!" "hey ticket!" "bye prick!" "hey jail cell!" "hey tubby inmate!" "hey hospital!" "hey stupid game I'm never playing again...." ..............come to think of it that game isn't all that fun after all _________________ another stunning post by yours truly |

Then there's the ever popular spin-off version of "punch buggy" (we call that "slug bug") where you point out PT Cruisers. We call it "Crusin' for a Brusin'" where we punch the other guy really really hard. ah the stupid games me and my brother play. _________________ erinbeth84: forget pro-choice and pro-life. i'm going pro-duck. If I am I driving, I like to just take in the scenery. I do not like when people make me talk all the time while I am driving. A good way to pass the time is read a book outloud. My friends and I on longer road trips (or tour) often read books outloud to eachother with fun accents. For instance, if we read Narnia, we are always speaking with British accents with much charisma. So, that is always fun. Otherwise, if I am not driving, I prefer to get a good deal of reading and/or sleeping done. |

If my friends and I can't find any slug bugs we play Cadillac smack, as in you smack someone everytime you see a Caddy. |

How about the game 24? You have to make 24 somehow out of the liscense plate numbers. You have to use all numbers, but you can use addition, subtraction, division, or multiplication. Whatever you want. _________________ www.myspace.com/nifster |

We play the game Beaver Beaver. whoever sees a Volkswagen Beetle first yells Beaver Beaver and then we all grab a handful of potato chips and eat them and the person who whistles first without laughing wins. _________________ Don't you let them tell you you're an ugly child. jeannette84xx wrote: this thread belongs in general? Not really. I created it to ask and begin theorizing about the games that the Eisleyoids play. I only left it open for other people to chime in since I knew they'd want to. I really want to know what people who spend as much time on the road as the DuPrees do to pass the time.
