However I don't have pinkterton and Ive yet to listen to all the songs...but I've heard most of them. Maybe it is as good as everyone says it is.... But I luuuurves me some maladroit. _________________ Hey people. This is baret_b's alter-ego. Yes, my alter ego is a 6 year old intergalactic alien battler. Also known as Calvin. |

Pinkerton is one of the best rock albums, ever... in my opinion. The blue album is a close second, but definitely a pop album, which has a lot to do with the production. Maladroit wasn't bad, the first half of it is decent, but it's not all that creative. Everything else might as well be a different band. |

I vote not because I've only heard like one song of theirs. So I don't have any opinions thus far. _________________ Thistledown |

I like Blue the best. I like Make Believe second, though. I'm strange. _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |

While the blue album is full of fun, catchy songs, it's very polished and impersonal. Pinkerton's songwriting, guitar playing, and production just kills me... |

Although Blue is the greater album, I voted for Pinkerton. There's something special about a band's dark age. Weezer so happens to be my favorite band, so this thread is a pleasant surprise. And I disagree wholeheartedly about Blue being "polished and impersonal". I plead the opposite actually. |

I wouldn't consider "My Name is Jonas," "The World Has Turned and Left Me Here," "Undone," "Surf Wax America," "Say it Ain't So," "In the Garage" or "Only in Dreams" very polished, nor any of the songs impersonal. The Green Album, on the other hand... _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |

The Green Album, on the other hand... Or you could've just listed every song, because it would still be true. And the Green album is a perfect example of a polished record with a few glimmering moments of "personal" messages. Tis a solid power-pop record. |

There's something special about a band's dark age. I wouldn't say it was the band's dark period as much as it was Rivers' dark period. JD _________________ "Well, hopefully that's our job, to strap rockets onto everything." - Adam Savage, Mythbusters |
