I used to work at this Roller Rink in the early 90s and have remained friends with the owner. He recently asked me to help him out with "Christian music" because starting the first Friday of September, he is going to have Christian music sessions on the first Friday night of each month. He thinks there will be a decent turn out. I know Eisley isn't necessarily Christian music but I loaded a couple of songs from Room Noises into their computer to play at the sessions because I figure it will fit in OK with Sixpence None the Richer, Jars of Clay, etc. Anyways, he called me up today while I was shopping and he's like "What's the deal with this 'Golly Sandra' song? It's beautiful. We're all crying over here." Of course, he was kidding about the crying part. But he went on to say they played it like 3 times that afternoon. I'm not sure how they stumbled upon "Golly Sandra" because I only had "My Lovely" entered in for the first playlist I created for them. |

That is really awesome. I wanted the people at the Bowling alley to play an Eisley song a while back, but I forgot to go up there. lol It was my turn when I was gonna go and I just got distracted. lol. I wonder if they would have played one.... _________________ ---------------------------------------------- - - - If you woke up today; yesterday was a great accomplishment. ~ Ramón ~ |

That is awesome! Golly Sandra is my favorite song, and its the song that snagged me into Eisley in the first place! _________________ Weston wrote: i spit out a flury of rude language at garron like, "UGH!....DUMMY!" he flips out and crys for the next couple of hours, then we stop at subway my favorite restaurant and buy him a sub and things are cool now. You will be greatly missed Jonathon David Wilson. Great bassist, great guy. *caution* *Myspace-caution* |
