I finally bought Room Noises. Yes, bought. I've had it on a cdr my companion sent me (forgive us! we were so young and and we were in love... wait, nevermind... still are). But the real thing is so much better. Every vocal sound, every gentle wash of guitar, and every stroke of the drumsticks on the snare drum sounds so clear and crisp. It's almost as if I'm experiencing the album all over again for the first time. It's amazing, and Eisley is amazinger than amazing. I also bought Dear Catastrophe Waitress / Push Barman To Open Old Wounds / Boy With The Arab Strap, which are all by Belle and Sebastian. And two books, one on photographic technique by some guy, and The Silmarillion by John Tolkien. It's been a good day. |

Nah, sometimes depending on the burner you have, it can distort the quality a bit. I would know, mines terrible... Anyway, good for you! _________________ erinbeth84: forget pro-choice and pro-life. i'm going pro-duck. Mr. Sean |

My 'companion' (or girlfriend, whatever term floats your boat) is a GIRL. And she ripped her copy and sent it to me over the computer (which I then burned), and mp3s aren't as good, of course. Sorry for the confusion. |
