THE BAND'S PERSONAL JOURNAL will be called either: "Eisley Diaries" or "Band Noises". Which one do you like best? btw. Please don't make me cry, but they won't be interactive. Impossible. The few of them who kept up w/ Xanga's and such finally sorta gave it up and closed shop. It's nobody's fault really... it's just, they felt so exposed and, to be honest, some people started getting angry - like if Stacy didn't respond or only responded once, they'd go sorta psycho... like, "WHY DON'T YOU EVER EMAIL ME BACK!! I thought we were becoming friends!!" ... and stuff like that. The burden of having to interact with everyone and keep everyone pleased sorta dampened the original motivation to lay their thoughts and personal feelings out there. I don't know of anything particular... that's just what I sorta got from it. But - This way, they can post things - art, words, pictures, thoughts, aspirations, dreams, depressions, tour diaries, etc. and if anyone wants to comment, the forum is the perfect place. Hope you guys understand. It's not like - "oh, we're too cool to interact and respond to people". We'll see how it goes. I don't know what to expect. It's just something I've wanted to have available for them since the beginning of time. Thank's to gRegor's vast knowledge of phpp and database driven back end technology - it's going to work. We've been tweaking the look for weeks. He's been coding, I give him comps. Both my collumn and the band diaries will eventually be visible from the top header.. or perhaps, ONE descriptor in the header will give you access to the blogs... then you can choose which to read. Thanks guys. I'm trying to make this place as wonderful, accessible, creative, fun, informational as possible. Thanks to every one who helps and contributes to the whole.... which is everyone who posts, the moderators, people behind the scene, people who scan the web for eisley articles, people who encourage us, each other... basically this whole Laughing City of neato people. I am flabbergusted over you all and am more thankful than you'll ever know. boyd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Room Noises isn't your only album, in like, 2 years you'll think "Band Noises? what does that have to do with anything?" I doubt it... that's like saying no one knows what Pablo Honey is One vote for Band Noises! _________________ |

Well band noises can be kind of misleading, although it's clever. We'll definitely get the reference but there's always incoming new ones who will probably think that's where they click to hear some songs or something. I dunno, it's cute but on the other hand.. from a design aspect, easy navigation is very important. I guess it's a bit obvious, that Eisley Diaries is safer and Band Noises is more creative. I wouldn't mind either I am just excited for them. Didn't help much, my 2 cents. |

I like Band Noises, plus it's not like they can't change the name to have something to do with the new album. I'm looking foward to it, i miss the girls xangas and their art/photography. |
