I am about to get a privia. They are nice. 88 weighted keys, and effects. I suggest checking that one out. Smile

i have a korg triton and an "original" fender rhodes stage piano. i would say, if you are going to be wanting a lot of different noises, not just a simple rhodes sound, would be to go down the MIDI path. only though if you have a laptop. it's very easy. you can pretty much make any noise your heart desires with a midi keyboard plugged into a computer.

it all depends on what you want to do musically. if you want tons of synth sounds like techno music, a microkorg might be good. or if you want basic synth sounds (like radiohead and midlake) you could shop around on ebay for old analog synthesizers.
