 Post subject: Boyd needs a name for his (my) blog - FASTPosted: Fri Oct 14, 2005 4:02 am 
HELP!! PLEASE... Name that Blog I should have put this up for you guys to be my creative team sooner... I've wasted too much time thinking and coming up empty minded. I need a name for my dumb Journal. Not so much - some Boyd name; I'm not trying to BRAND anything "me". Whatever works and helps promote the band and is clear from a glance what the journal is about - though I certainly celebrate creativity. Nothing too static or plain...descriptive is ok, as long as it has a creative flare: Basically - imagine taking the kind of content I write and cover in the forum: "On the Road" – you know, info-journals, Tour Journals, anything that needs to be known, new video releases, making of clips, studio clips, news, blah, blah, blah... and put it on the main site so people who aren't prone to join forums, blog, etc. but are interested in Eisley, interested in learning more, interested in coming to a show, eager to be convinced Eisley is, in fact, their favorite band (ha haa)... PLEASE help me come up with a name and a tagline. gRegor and I - mainly have been slaving over ideas... but can't get it right. I'm too picky. Too close to it. I could give you a list, but i don't want it to limit your brains. Hold the essence of the sum of what my news/blog/rambilngs/media-rich Journals are in your head - and poop out the perfect name... please. I have pages full and just don't feel like any of them are right. I wanted to have it done and up by now; it's too important and I don't want to have to throw something lame out there, change it, tweak it in front of the (small) world. Thanks SO much. I'm serious. GO!! go... what are you waiting for!! i don't think it should have boyd in it... i'm not looking for a platform to promote myself; i realize i'm not invisible and it's going to have my thumbprint throughout every word, picture, movie... but as far as the name.... i dunno.
