every friday between classes my school plays music over the intercom. i have no idea who chooses the songs, but obviously it isn't the teachers because usually its some hardcore band or classic rock. but on friday i sat down in my english class and it got quiet as everyone started to work and what do i hear coming from the speaker? TELESCOPE EYES. i freaked out and yelled for everyone to be quiet and listen because it was my favorite band, but no one really did. i was so excited to know i wasn't the only person at my school to know of their existance though.

My school plays music during passing periods every day, but it's usually awful. The best we've ever had was Coldplay.

Wow, that's cool. Music during passing periods.
Probably wouldn't work at my school because we have a huge open campus (classroom buildings all spread apart).

They play music right before the daily announcements. But its most of the time hip hop because thats what most of my school is in to. It gets kind of annoying sometimes. Rolling Eyes

wow. music inbetween classes. That would never work at our school. It has four buildings, with a huge playground in the middle. max it can take is 8 mins between two classes.

But that's seriosly cool.

I need to talk my school into doing that, sometime.

They used to do it at Christmas, but I guess they gave up after a few years.

My principal started this new thing where he plays jazz on the intercom between class changes (five minutes of smooth jazz, baby Confused ).

Let's just say that we won't be hearing Eisley at my school. I wish.

dial r for revenge
Golly, Poster

when i was at school they used to play music during morning break & lunch break (and in the bathrooms Shocked ), but it was usually classical or jazz or something (and once abba for some reason)

Ha, cool. I used to get so excited when I'd hear good music at school. It was like someone saying "Hey, someone else who goes here has a brain, too!" So, yeah ... Confused

Wow, school has gotten so much cooler since my time.

You know, when I had to walk to school. Barefoot. Uphill. Both ways. In the snow.

This was before we even had music, of course.

Music was the footsteps of the animals we had to hunt down for food.
