Anyone else? not so much suprised as i was blissfully happy. is this old news? new to me, but i would expect it'd be more talked about if it was new. p.s. to go with the time signature discussion, tell me what time this would be: ONE two three ONE two three ONE two that be 3/4. tree tops is in 3/4. i thought 3/4 was ONE two three ONE two three ONE two three notice my rhythm stops on two and returns to ONE, so there's a three missing. yeah, hisownshot is right, it would be 5/4. i didnt realize the ONE's were accents. i thought you were just repeating the ONE two three's. or, it could be 8/8. i think. (that's a time signature, right? yeah...) again, depending on the tempo. i love this music talk stuff. _________________ Flutter girl killing me with her sunshine... she's so unaware that she's my melpomene. hi www.myspace.com/musicislove |

OR... does it go ONE two three FOUR five six ONE TWO... ? are the ONE TWO longer notes? if so, then it'd be 6/8 switching to 2/4. that would be cool too. i asked this before, but are the ONE's the accents? _________________ Flutter girl killing me with her sunshine... she's so unaware that she's my melpomene. hi www.myspace.com/musicislove |

This gave me the chills, it was so super amazing. I loved Room Noises, but this second album looks like it could be even better, =D And that definitely sounds like 6/8 time (or 3/4, they are pretty much the same) I think what throws you off is Weston on the snare drum. Is is just not playing the standard on beat 4 of 6. But yeah, it defintely plays like 6/8. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |

i asked this before, but are the ONE's the accents? yeah, i meant the all capatilized beats to be the accents. that's pretty neat that i unintentionally wrote something in a weird time signature. still don't think i could write something with as odd a time sig. as Pyramid Song though. _________________ I am Torgo. [edit] ok, i think this is right now. mostly... _________________ Tweet me @teagone |
