Soo, I've just returned home from tonight's show (we left after Eisley's set Razz and I didn't get any pictures. No camera's allowed.) annd I want to say a few things.

First of all, one of my biggest pet peeves is when beautiful people doubt how lovely they are. It's daunting in the same way that asking for soy milk and getting orange juice in it's place is. (Weird analogy, I know. Whatever.) Anyways, I thought tonight's show was incredible. I experienced the same teary-eyed, oh-my-stars-I-love-this-band kind of emotions that I've experienced in all the other Eisley shows I've been to. (We got there kind of late and were in the back right behind Boyd, so I screamed and hollered a lot Laughing) Honestly, I'm not just saying this to be nice. I truly, honestly, genuinely loved tonight's performance. Imagine how let down I was when Sherri called it the worst show in Eisley history. You guys seriously shouldn't be so hard on yourselves. So many things could have gone wrong to really make it the worst show in Eisley history. Both Sherri and Stacy could have lost their voices, for instance. Someone could have broken their guitar string in the middle of a song, monitor's could have stopped working, guitars could have been out of tune, stage lights could have gone all Phantom of the Opera and fallen on someone, you might have even had to relive the "Fireworks Song" Razz (which wasn't even that bad, I might add).

All of the songs were just as bewitching and divine as they usually are and I'm proud to have been able to come out and support you guys.

Think of it this way, Sherri will get her voice back eventually, and when she does, future audiences won't know what hit them and Eisley will continue to knock the socks off of everyone.

I love, love, love you all and hope you feel better soon. Once again, tonights show was stunning and wonderful.

And it was really nice saying Hi to Kim and Chauntelle afterwards Very Happy

PS - I want to thank you fellow Laughing Citizens for being so nice and welcoming to each other. I recently joined another band's message board (and they shall remain nameless Rolling Eyes ) and I am so shocked at how elitist some people can be.. goodness. It really made me appreciate how lovely everyone is on here, so thank you all. Good night!

i thought tonight was a good show too. when i was back there after the show they all seemed hard on themselves but i thought it was cool, only having stacy sing the harmonies.

and it was funny too because every time there were missing vocals i'd look at sherri and everyone and they would just be smiling

Aww, Sherri lost her voice? Poor thing. I hope it comes back soon!

So Stacy sang the whole show by herself? I would like to see that! Sounds interesting.

Maybe they switched some Sherri songs for some Stacy songs (Like Golly Sandra...)
Or maybe Stacy took on some of Sherris verses. Hmm....

Yeah, I don't .. really remember the exact
set list but it went something like this:

Lady of the Wood
the Escaping Song
Golly Sandra
Just Like We Do
Over the Mountains
Telescope Eyes
Marvelous Things

Stacy sang all of them, and on some songs
Sherri sang the lower parts while Stacy
sang the higher parts. It was really cool,
actually Razz

It was pretty much the greatest thing I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing.

Cool! It would be like if Bizarro-Eisley was performing.

It is indeed.

I wish they'd have played more songs. Sad But I was still more than satisfied with what I got.

I was at the Sunday show. Considering the setlist shuffle, they sounded very well rehearsed. I feel privileged to have seen some rare songs live!!!
...as long as they play Mr. Pine next time through town... Wink

P.S. Weston was amazing!
