Alright everyone sorry for not posting this earlier, but I just woke up. Well I'm from Keller, TX, but I'm going to OU. So yesterday I head out from OU at 2:00 with my g/f and one of her friends. We've been waiting since September for this show so we were flippin' pumped the whole way. It's a 2 1/2 hour drive, so we arrived at the Gypsy at 4:55ish. We were probably 15 people from the front of line. So 5 minutes after we arrive, I'm looking at the parking lot for the bands when I see....Sherri walk right out the door! I'd seen the band in concert, but never actually had the chance to meet them like personally. So Sherri walks out to a car and meets up with Kim. So at the time, I'm debating to go over and talk to them b/c I don't want to be one of those people that constantly bothers a band outside of the show. But I'm like hey this is a one time thing to be able to talk to them one on one. So as we're walking up to them Stacy walks out! Well we go and talk to them and they were all the nicest people ever in person. It was definitely an experience I won't forget. I mean you can tell how cool they are from their music, journals, etc, but meeting this just proves that and more. I brought the Interlude article with me, which they hadn't seen, so that was really cool. They liked it alot. (I got it signed..holla). And I got a pic with Sherri and Stacy which I'll try and post later. Ok then 5 mintues after that...Chauntelle walks out with Kim so I run back over there to wish her Happy Birthday and talk for about 6 or 7 minutes. I could go on about how awesome she is to. And as I'm talking to her Boyd and Garon and the rest of the family walk out. We talked for a bit, and I told Boyd how much of a stud he was. Alright well after a whole fiasco with the lines and who was getting in the show first, we finally get in at 7, like 1 row from the front. Augustana played a sweet show, we picked up a copy of their album. Eisley went on and you could definitely tell their home fan base was there. I thought their set went really well. Thier set list (which we got a copy of from Chauntelle as they were leaving) was similar to the ones other people have posted, if not the same. I loved hearing "Many Funerals" live. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to Chauntelle and sprayed silly string everywhere. It was alot of fun. They tore it up on stage and looked like they had a really good time. I know I did. Alright well how's that for a Dallas post? I could keep going but I need some lunch. I got back to Norman at 3am, and didn't fall asleep til 4. Sorry I couldn't post earlier. Oh and I met "clark" from here, and he was a cool guy. |

Yeah I stayed for Switchfoot, I watched them perform like 6 songs from the front row, and then the rest of their set at the Eisley merch table.
Sorry it took forever to post these two pics, I've been crazy busy with school and work. Well the ones from the actual show didn't turn out well b/c the security guy had already told us to stop taking pics. |

Sorry I just remembered I had some shots from my camera phone as well. I know the quality isn't great at all, but I thought these still had a cool feel to them. Hey they're from a phone. I don't have time now, but I may try and clear them up later, I like how they are now though.
