..be played on the radio?

I live in the chicago area where there is a radio station called WLIT. They play holiday music from before thanksgiving up to christmas day. They started playing the music about a week ago, and i am sick of it already. how many times can one sanely listen to various recordings of rudolph the red nosed reindeer?!?!

so, i am going to send a song request to them. this is what i have written:

"My Family has tuned into your holiday music for the past three seasons. With the beginning of this season, I have felt as though songs are played and replayed. I know there is not an extensive amount of holiday songs, so I would like to introduce Eisley.
Eisley (www.eisley.com) is my favorite band. They hail from Tyler, Texas. They have a full length CD called "Room Noises," which is not related to the winter holidays, currently out and two released EPs ("Marvelous Things" and "Laughing City") along with songs accessible through iTunes.
Eisley's fansite http://www.orangegoldandgreen.com has a recording of a spetacular song that is related to the winter season, "Mr. Pine" located here: http://www.straylight6.org/ep1/mp3/Eisley-EP1-Mr_Pine.mp3

Equally important to mention is on the "Marvelous Things" EP, where there is the recording of "The Winter Song."

I would appreciate it if the WLIT added these songs to their holiday song playlist.

Thank you,
Deanna"

what do we think? i am going to send them that anyway--- i was just wondering.

You might also want to bring "The Winter Song" to their attention.
