I remember in a really old journal entry someone said Stacy was gonna contribute something to the new elected album, or vocals or something?

did that ever happen?

do we know what track?(I got the album leak, but I am gonna buy it probably!)

I'm listening to a song now and the female vocals kinda sound like her, so I was thinking it might be it.

Ok, thanks...bye!

Stacy Dupree is on “Clouds Parting ( 8:14 a.m. )” and “I'll Be Your Man.”

Hopefully that's right.

Oh, anyone want to send 'em over? To tell the truth, I've never actually listened to the Elected before.

the record also features contributions from Sennett's friends Ryland Steen (drums) and Daniel Brummel (bass). Jenny Lewis sings on “It was Love,” and Stacy Dupree (Eisley) on “Clouds Parting ( 8:14 a.m. )” and “I'll Be Your Man.”

Really? I've been missing Dan's bass (psh, he's all guitarist now...). Is The Elected any good? I might have to check them out.

I did not know this. Neat. I like The Elected. They put on a fantasmic show.

"Backing Sennett up in this incarnation of the Elected are multi-instrumentalist Mike Bloom, percussionist Ryland Steen, and bassist Daniel Brummel. Jenny Lewis and Eisley's Stacy Dupree contribute backing vocals."

brief mention in Pitchfork today as well.

i like the few Blake songs on the Rilo Kiley albums, so I've been very interested in the Elected. he reminds me of Elliott Smith some because he usually doubletracks his vocals. plus, i believe i read he was an ES fan.

Oh okay now I hear it better...the bumms in the song just sound off...it's at the very end of the song where you can distinctively hear Stacy's voice....
