I just ran into the new AP with no real reason to buy it till mid-end of it(the one with My Chemical Romance on the Cover) Turns out in the most anticipated albums of 2006 section Eisley is in it, I'll try and scan it later, if not someone else probably will! It's pretty cool! _________________ She said,"NO WEAK HEARTS SHALL PROSPER!" |

EISLEY GUITARIST CHAUNTELLE DUPREE didn't even realize that her band would be making one of AP's Most anticipated albums of 2006 until about a week before we called her at her parents' home in Tyler, Texas. "Honestly, we hadn't really thought about doing another record until very recently," she says, "because it seemed like we just did that." However, thanks to the slow-building success of the band's critically aclaimed 2005 full-length debut, Room Noises, the demand for a second Eisley disc has sped up the process considerably. By December, the group will likely be entering the studio with resident Tooth & Nail producer Aaron Sprinkle for a mid-summer release. "We've never sat down and wrote an 'album' before," insists singer/guitarist and second-youngest Dupree sister, Sherri. "The last one, we kind of pieced together over the years. I think this one will make more sense as a whole. Room Noises has songs on it we've been playing for years now. I'm ready to keep things going." And if that's not enough, with bassist Jonathan Wilson recently being replaced by cousin Garron Dupree, there should be something like (??)* members of the Dupree family on the Eisley tour bus when they begin playing out again this fall. * that bit was too blurry to read. just a large number, i think? _________________ "dial" in Welsh means "revenge". i also think it's funny that sherri is apparently the "second youngest dupree sister" I was going to point out that that was one of the most awkward sentences I've read in a while. Let alone the fact that, if you consider Christie a person, that's not true. I mean, wouldn't it be easier to call her the second oldest Dupree sibling? _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |
