Ok, now listen up... I'm not giving dates or venues. These are the towns we'll be hitting. (YES, I said "we'll HIT you!!!") They can change but I don't think they will. (how's that for a disclaimer) I pulled this data off my mileage estimates for calculating gas prices. Don't take it to the bank or go posting this around or we'll both look like fools. _______________________________________ Tyler to New Orleans - 432 miles (9hrs 24min) New Orleans - Ft. So.... there you go. You have a rough sketch Again, no posting of these in other threads, please. As you can see, it's going to be a very tough tour for us... long, long drive days with no days off - especially at the beginning. whoosh... Thought I know it'll be the best tour to date, I almost hate to look over it because I know the suffering that's coming... Ya'll... please bring friends and pack these places out... not for money... not for fame... not to stroke anyone's ego's... Eisley cares little about any of that stuff. (so far, none of that stuff has presented itself anyway, so... they wouldn't know) but ONLY so that somebody higher up (than me) will see that the next tour needs to be a BUS!!! It's not healthy to go insane. (i'm only half way joking... sorry) You can't or shouldn't use a bus really until you're selling out 1000 seaters. So... I guess it'll be a while. (sigh....) It's a rough, rough look at the tour as it's forming. I'd doubt if these cities will change. Venues are shifting around like crazy, though many are anchored. Capacities vary from 300 at smallest to 1,100 biggest. Most are obviously in the middle. I think there are about 5 to 6 -1000 cap., at least 10 in the 500 range, several 550's, several 600 - 750's, etc. Way healthier venues than before... like, i "think"... like in Chicago... meh, nevermind. I can't. And, in.. wups. nevermind. I'm such a tease. I tell you these things because.... I care. I sorta like you guys, in case you haven't noticed. As soon as I have MORE info, I'll slam it down here so fast - your head will implode and pop off your neck. So don't read the forum any more. And DON'T READ MY STUPID JOURNALS!!!!! boyd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Eek, those are some pretty long drives. If you truly have no days off (37 days you have on here, then, I believe.), it seems you would do almost an average of 7 hours a day. Gross. BUT! we are thankful, and I am happy to see this time around I have the choice of Minneapolis OR Omaha. Wonderful! |

I haven't missed a day of school yet, all year, but I will break my OA status and perfect attendance to see Eisley... I had to miss them last year with NFG, but you were fortunate enough to see them, right? I'm gonna make the nearly 7 hour drive. _________________ "Dang D, you ain't goin' up that hill is you?"
