nate, Welcome. How did you find out about Eisley? You do have some UK company on here. They should start popping up soon to make themselves known. There are things being talked about, and kicked around for Eisley to come back to the UK, but I don't think they have anything nailed down yet. I do believe they will go this year, but I am not sure when. If you are signed up for their newsletter, you will get a notice from that, when it gets figured out. I think that you sign up for their newsletter on the front page of eisley.com Again, welcome to Laughing City! kd |

thanks for the welcome! now i see why its called the friendliest community! im a moderator on the hellogoodbye buddyboard. and seriosuly, thatplace is horribly mean. i didnt realise eisley had been to the UK before! that sucks! i missed out =/ i heard about them through a friend in the states, thats how i keep up with the ameican music scene. well in this kind of genre anyway. i have a very much american music taste. not british. ill of heard of american local bands that you wouldnt thought possible. haha. i know what you mean about the fans, there arent alot. but i know quite a few. i would say if eisley had a support slot, they would draw a crowd, even without an official UK release. a lot of bands do that. nice to meet you all though! |

Information will be slow in coming. It was going to happen; no... i'm serious, like, we'd have been over there right now, only several tour opportunities dissolved as bigger UK bands pushed their tours back - which overlapped with Eisley's headlining tour here in the US. Now, a record must be recorded... AFTER the tour. We should go this year... and both records should be released in the UK THIS YEAR. but, i don't control these things. I do, however, tend to suck up to anyone who loves Eisley... especially someone from the UK. why? Because of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Coldplay... and hundreds of others... plus all the other bands from Europe like Kashmir (my recent obsession), but i confess that 75% of us rebels here in America don't know what countries the UK comprises. We just say - the UK and act like we know things. Me included. I will go start a thread so I can be educated. Meanwhile, welcome DTR. And hi to everyone else over there... Lisa is the only one we've met. Thanks for hanging out - all of you. Look forward to meeting you. Let's hope for a small club tour w/ eisley opening for some really cool band... that's an opportunity for you guys to meet the band and vice versa... _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
