Folk/Acoustic Eisley Harmonizing sister act quintet from Texas. Apr. 20 at Croatian Cultural Centre (3250 Commercial), 6:30 pm. Tickets $16.50 (Z, TM). Samuel Sixto Swiss singer-songwriter with Celtic and folk roots performs as part of the Nouvelle-Scène series. Apr. 21 at Studio 16 (1551 W. 7th), 8:30 pm. Tickets $5-$9 at door. This does bring up a suggestion: If you are reading your local paper and there is a listing or an article about Eisley and there is a mistake in it, E-mail the writer or the paper and ask them to correct it. Also, if there is a nice write-up, E-mail them also, telling them how much you love Eisley and thank-you for the article. That might get them more interested for the next time Eisley rolls into town, or when the next CD comes out. |

Yes, please do. Don't tell us we're idiots, and don't treat us like idiots, but it is greatly appreciated when people call in to correct such things ... in a nice, respectful manner. Also, you get the information printed twice because they should probably run it as a correction. (I'm a newspaper guy, so I know this stuff. Just so y'all know.) _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

(I'm a newspaper guy, so I know this stuff. Just so y'all know.) My old high school English teacher used to condescendingly send in corrections to newspapers, and read them aloud to the class and laugh at them. The worst part was that there was a girl in my class whose father was one of the top editors of the paper that she would "correct" often. She would always squirm in her seat while the teacher called everyone who worked at the paper an idiot. _________________ Power is only pain It’s probably better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in.
