has anyone ever heard the song "pretender"..it can only be heard at OGG.org. it's really good, and Chauntelle sings the first verse and i think she's singing with Sherri. She has a special voice, it would sound good with Stacy's too Very Happy

I actually really enjoy that song a lot. For one, if the band says they don't like it, it don't mean I can't, and for two, it's not very Eisley, but it is at the same time, and the lyrics are awesome.

it's pronounced "chasdew"

yeah it's very old, i think one of their first few songs. from what i understand, the band doesn't care for it cause they've gone in a different direction musically.

I still can't get enough of that pause, when (I think) Sherri says pretender and then they bust into the chorus.

I haven't listened to it in some time, but it is kinda catchy. But alas, the band has left it on the scrap heap and moved on (to better things).
We love your singing Chauntelle! Please sing on the new album. Very Happy

i went on over to ogg.org and listened to "pretender." it sounded very "cranberries" to me. i thought it was good for their ages at that point and the fact that it was one of their first songs. now, on the subject of chauntelle's voice- i really like the way it sounds. she has said several times that she doesn't even really know how to sing properly. i think that did come through on the recording, but i'm not so sure that i would have even noticed if she hadn't stated that. the point is...i think she sounds good. i think she is probably even better now, and i think she should try to do it at least a little bit on the new record. the great thing about it is that all three of the girls sound different and three part harmonies would be siiiiickkk.

what do you guys think?

okay, so...i just listened to "one more day with you." that song is amaaazzzingg!! it's so beautiful! that is chauntelle singing that? that is a lot better than the pretender song, they should be currently playing that. now, i think she should definatly be singing on the new record without question!!!
