I'm working on a 15 minute movie for the band...totally promotional for their music attorney to send to more labels. I'd like to stream it from a server, but....alas, I have no space. Does anybody in this small, tight knit community have a place I could park this and put a link on the site just for fun? Before you say yes, we've been getting as many as 175 hits per day...no fewer than 100. If even 25% of those visitors click the movie, there'll be a sucking sound on your server. If not, well....it's ok. Nobody can see this cheezy home video then.

Happy Thanksgiving e'rybody.

man, I wish I could host the movie, but, well i've only got 10 megabytes of space for my website, and i'm sure that won't cut it, otherwise I would host some of my movies hehe..

but yeah if you can find the space I would defineately(horrible spelling) watch it.. Very Happy

I could put it on our site. It's not really a matter of space as much as it is traffic. I could hide the link and tell only a select few where it is. In fact, I'm uploading the movie right now. Tomorrow I'll put a hidden link for their "dealmaker". But, no one will find it. no way.

Abductee - aren't you in Cali? oh, no wonder you're awake; it's only midnight. But why are Sherri and I still at the office? (burnin cd's and makin' movies) Nobody in our family ever sleeps.

hmm well I don't think my site has much of a traffic limitation, it's the free 10 megabytes that you get with a cable modem through attbi, currently I have 6.15 megabytes on it. So, I dunno I made a video that was 17 minutes, and with the 56 K compression it only got down to 19 megabytes, so, unless you've got awesome compression software I don't think it'll really work.

Oh, wait, are you saying that you would like me to link to the site, and have you host the file? If so, I'm sure I could do that, i've never read anything about bandwidth limitations for my account, i've asked my dad, and he hasn't read anything either, so yeah, I could do that, if it does exceed any bandwidth i'm sure attbi will let my dad know, and in that case I may not be able to do it, but i've uploaded and downloaded off of my account quite a bit, and all of the terms and conditions only stress the 10 megabyte space limit, so if all you need me to do is front a page then I could do that, just post details here or e-mail me. Smile

oh, and sleep is for the weak Wink
