For those who have seen Sherri's latest journal about the "stacker"...what the heck...

I would feel so bad if I lied to Eisley. Confused

Nah, I doubt it'll get worse. They'll have less time to sign autographs at all, and will probably have to come up with rules like only signing one thing at a time. What will probably become worse is forgeries.

It's not like the kid is making a fortune of this, I doubt he's an evil genius. He just thought of a quick way to make some cash, without thinking of whether or not it'd be a jerky thing to do. If he can focus that energy on more honest moneymaking opportunities, he could probably do pretty well for himself.

I doubt Eisley will be signing stacks of anything anytime soon now.

not just autographs..i mean in general.
and duh, most people with sketchy businesses are smart enough to actually do well in an honest job, but already having that selfish outlook, it's much easier to make money doing things like this. Most likely this outlook will follow him through life, and he'll move on to bigger, shadier things.

Yeah, like ticket scalping or drug dealing.

It just seems more akin to Tom Sawyer tricking his friends into painting the fence for him. Yeah, it's not right, but it's not a sign that he's going to become a drug dealer or a lawyer or anything. Things like that show ingenuity that just needs to be honed and disciplined.

e.g., he probably needs a good whoopin'.

seriously. ask anyone who deals drugs, which could even be your physician. he's making good money already being a doctor, but the money he can make selling prescription drugs under the table, could in no time equal his yearly salary. that's why drug-dealing is prevalent in ghetto's; they make so much in one night on the corner, and being young, who would wanna work an honest, low-paying job down at the 'mart? just being young, and impressionable, of course they'd opt for that, and that's really sucky.

well, i've seen it happen, so ya know. little things escalate into bigger things when nothing is done. it's not a whoopin' he needs, it's good role models, and that's pretty rare these days.

Good role models give whoopins. Everybody wins.
