Hey experienced Laughing Citizens. Id appreciate any feedback as to exactly how you meet the band? This question has been asked by me, and surely others before, but im going to see eisley soon at the UK tour, and im wetting myself with happiness at the thought of meeting them!!!! For example, when the gig has ended do you wait within the venue or outside? Is turning up early before the gig enough, or do you have to find the secret laughing citizen backdoor to the venue? Thanks for any replies, and also to the other dummies who seek the same answers!!! P.S. Queen of Leaves, a.k.a. best song in the world - is it me, or are there no demos (at least posted online) of this song anywhere. I love it sooooo much, but all i have is the single BUT incredible spooky live version. |

My advice for meeting them would be look for them in the crowd during the opening acts. In your case... they ARE the opening act for TBS right? They might watch TBS's set, but probably not. I would say look for their black GMC van after the show, but they have to fly over there. Sorry this hasn't been any help. Just keep looking around for them... it's ok to be a stalker sometimes _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice. I'm wondering since they will be the support band, and since it's their second time to the UK, if possibly they will have allotted time to do meet and greet. Like, after their set, out by their merch table? That's usually the way it goes when they are the opener. Boyd will probably post stuff about this when it gets closer, but I'll try to remember to get him to answer this. |

This usually works well from what I've seen: 1) Just say hi. THEY'RE JUST PEOPLE! JUST LIKE YOU! Honest. 2) Be brief, though you don't have to be pressured to rush. They're extremely busy, but they're very appreciative of their fans. They'll probably enjoy hearing that you think they're awesome. Who doesn't like a nice compliment? 3) Try to get just an autograph for yourself. It's rude to try to get a ton of stuff signed. Unless maybe it's for a friend. But still, try to keep it reasonable. 4) The merch table should be a good place to start. 5) Be persistent. Keep looking. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Wait after the show. Unless they are really tired, Eisley usually takes time to say hi and take pics and stuff. If they are opening for people, then yea, the merch place is the best place to be. Boyd is there during the whole show and is a very cool kat and meeting him is just as good as well. So drop by, let him know the band rules, and then go from there. _________________ UPDATE: REAL MYSPACE LINK! http://www.myspace.com/2399095 Check out my FLICKR and leave comments!!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/28644084@N00/ |

Just wait outside the venue where they'll exit, if you can. They're all really nice and approachable. Boyd usually runs around all over the place. I can almost guarantee you'll at least see him. Weston's really tall, so... that might help you spot him. _________________ ~Hunter MySpace |

I would've waited all night, but my dad was picking me up and he had to wake up for work 4 hours from then so he made me leave after waiting about 15 minutes. Turns out they came outside 15 minutes after I left! _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice. You can also chain yourself to the tour van. _________________ UPDATE: REAL MYSPACE LINK! http://www.myspace.com/2399095 Check out my FLICKR and leave comments!!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/28644084@N00/ |
