but in CANADA! man! I remember not being able to buy Decemberists albums in canada unless you found one out of sheer dumb luck. Which is hilarious cause they are MADE in canada! well, hope you bought one whether or not you needed it. _________________ guitarfreak217 wrote: Everyone, listen to Leigh. Boyd asked me when they were in Toronto if Eisley albums were available in Canada. I kinda laughed when I said yes because I thought he was joking. After I realized he wasn't though, it kind of opened my eyes to the size of the market gap between the two countries. So I can only imagine what it's like for overseas residents. _________________ |

makes me not take living in the US for granted...i mean among obvious other things...but yeah even then when it first came out i had to get my copy out of town (both because it wasn't widely distributed in my neck of the woods, and also because i was on a debate trip to boston around the release time) _________________ |

hey whats up I lived in saskatchewan for twenty years and then I got married. I had the darndest time finding anything by any band that I liked. And when I did finally find room noises, like I previously stated, it was marked up for $24.99. Houston has more people in it than the whole of saskatchewan does. Thats why the market isn't there. Also, no one ever thinks of saskatchewan as a "safe bet" for a tour destination unless they are a huge name. Saskatoon generally gets the canadian artists such as Shania Twain and Nickelback, but many others just skip right over. _________________ guitarfreak217 wrote: Everyone, listen to Leigh. I just wasn't sure what the Saskatchewan connection was. _________________ |
