I think I have a pretty good grasp on how to play Like the actors....tell me if you think it's wrong....please capo on 1:standard tuning, etc Verse/Chorus/most of the song.... E, A, G The only time it seems like they play the F# is RIGHT before the chorus, so it's like A G E Played...it....Down Also, right after Stacy sings "chest", it seems like Sherri slides down to 12 for a quick powerchord E, but honest that and the F# are so quick they're almost unnoticeable. The Bridge to me is something like A-E x 2-A-G-F# repeating until the "Down" and down. The outro is just E. I am still iffy on the bridge part and if anybody has any better ideas let me know. thanks. EDIT: I switched some stuff around...I think this is right/better. ok...go! |

Everything but the Bridge and part of how the chorus is done looks good. There's an Emaj7 quite a lot in the chorus that I kept hearing. _________________ Thistledown |

I should have mentioned this is (very) simplified. Chauntelle I believe plays that Emaj7 in both the verse and chorus, the parts are almost identical, I'm mostly going on what Sherri plays which is E and A. The bridge, I heard/watched Sherri do something like Bm-Em or Bm-E, but I can't figure it out totally. For the second part I can really only hear Chauntelle's guitar, and I think she plays something like Bm-A-F#(all powerchords). It doesn't sound totally right to me either....but I figured I would post it to get feedback. |

I feel bad sometimes, like I've spoiled something, but since I'm a big fan, there'll still be a thrill to hear the studio, and knowing the songs makes it way better to me I know how you feel. This time around, I felt like I had already seen this particular concert because of how closely I followed Boyd's journals. I think in the whole process I did loss some of the magic, but it was still REALLY awesome hearing the new songs live. I canNOT wait until the new cd comes out. _________________ My name is actually Sarah. Facebook. Twitter. |

This is what I play: C#m-C#m/C-C#m/B-B/D#-F That's the first part. Then it goes to: A5-G#5-F#5 I'm still figuring out the other part though. _________________ Thistledown |

My piano brain is telling me F and A# for the verse and chorus and then the bridge is F-with the pinky on the D key and then the pinky moves to the C# key, and then regular F, then it goes Dminor to D-with the thumb on the C key and then to A#. Aha! I'm a hauss, and it's really late. _________________ I'll be your little shark. - - - bandspace |
