In the same post where Sherri is talkiking about how pretty the Pride and Prejudice movie is, she provides a link to a gallery of arkwork by Joe Vaux. To me it looks like Bill Wray (Ren and Stimpy) having bad dreams. I can't imagine I have a more delicate sensibility than a girlie-girl like Sherri but the images are creeping me out in a big way and the music is intensifying the willie factor. I did however like the "Stink Eye" piece. I'm partial to scatalogical humor, I'm juvenile like that. Here's the link if you haven't already visited. What's up with "Crampety Crampus"? I never did like Santa since he stiffed me on a bike once. This Xmas I'll be up on the the roof with a bottle of JD and a shotgun. Thanks Sherri. |

Yeah I made a comment in the bat with butterfly wings topic, but totally agree. With everything gunadmit said actually. The Ren and Stimpy cartoon was my first thought as well (no joke!!) and the music was scary. Cool art but I think I may have nightmares now....Still its kinda the kind of art that freaks me out, but freaks me out so much I *may* want to get it for the weird factor. Key word is "may" |

Oooh tremendous! Sherri cuits squabs with paperclips so I can't imagine she'd be easily disturbed. If Eisley's music edged a little more towards the direction of her art (and the artists displayed in her journal) I would be a happy lagomorph. The cute & eepy-creepy is a sweet honey pie. gundamit wrote: Quote: To me it looks like Bill Wray (Ren and Stimpy) having bad dreams.
It really does! In fact, I actually found the episode of Ren & Stimpy when they end up as talking husks (having been digested by an earthworm neighbour) very disturbing indeed. _________________ "A little less love, a little more common decency." - Kurt Vonnegut |
