Sea Post King

So I was listening to Eisley on my iPod tonight, I think the song was Mr. Pine, and I thought about how much I liked the song and that I wished it had made the album. Of course not all songs could have made the album, and I love all the ones that did, but if you had the chance to, what Eisley songs would you choose to be on Room Noises?

Considering they have many songs that didn't make the album, and maybe some of you don't like all the songs that did end up on it - remake Room Noises with the ones you wish did! (Maybe excluding the newer ones, and keeping it the same number of songs that are on the album)

My Picks:

Golly Sandra
Plenty of Paper
Just Like We Do
Memories
Mr. Pine
Sunfeet
Treetops
Trolleywood
Marvelous Things
The Escaping Song
They All Surrounded Me
Brightly Wound

I guess my Room Noises would exclude Telescope Eyes, I Wasn't Prepared, Lost At Sea, My Lovely, and One Day I Slowly Floated Away.

I have no idea if this has been done before I just thought it was a cute idea.

They should make the next album a double album, with 1 album high quality live recordings. The true Eisley experience isn't quite captured in the studio (to me). I like your choices but so many good ones to choose from. They did well for their first album. We'll see what they have in store for us later this year.

1. Mr. Pine
2. Marvelous Things
3. Just Like We Do
4. Golly Sandra
5. Sunfeet
6. Over the Mountains
7. One Day I Slowy Floated Away
8. Lost At Sea

*(Bonus Hidden Track) Escaping Song (live at Troubadour)

Wink Maybe I cheated with the bonus song. It's hard picking tracks! I think Eisley did a good job, but it's still a fun topic/idea.

I agree with CUBSWINWOLDSERIES that they should have a double album with high quality live recordings or at least a couple bonus live tracks... Quite possibly a dual disk with live video? huh huh, good idea no? Wink
