I'm running an AMD Opteron 146 overclocked to 3ghz (300x10) with water cooling. 2gigs of memory with a couple of 7800GTs running in SLI configuration. This summer I'm making the jump to an Intel Conroe dual core cpu ... should be crazy fast in SuperPi.

 There probably should be an "Other PC" category for users of Linux and FreeBSD, etc. Anybody remember the BeOS? I always wanted that, but never had a computer that could run it. I like the programs for macs but when now that they are available for PC's I prefer to run Windows. _________________

Powerbook 15, 1.67ghz Bought 8 months ago Powerbook 15, 1ghz Bought 2 years ago Powerbook 12, 1.5ghz Given By the School ibook 14, 800mhz Bought 3 years ago PowerMac G3, 533mhz Ebay 2 months ago I am a mac hog, but to admit it I only use the newer 15 most of the time. The ibook is sittinging in its box awaiting a logic board repair. The older 15 spends all its time doing protein folding. The Tower I use for Music stuff and the powerbook 12 is never used but it was inclueded in tuition and has programs I need. |
