I haven't took a camera into a large venue since the Feeder incident (ah long story, kinda) and was wondering if venue's are okay with throwaway cameras, at Feeder i took a digital camera and almost got thrown out. Just so i can have some live photos of the band, not really bothered about quality, ease of use is priority and don't have a digital camera... Any ideas... _________________ Last 5 Plays: ![]() |

Still cameras are no problem with the band. The club might be a different story ... but if it's up to Eisley, it's cool. TBS and the club will probably make the call, though. So you should check up with the club if you can. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Disposables and small digitals are generally ok, but anything bigger are usually asked to be taken out and removed. _________________ Hi, I am a jolly old British lad. Whom is a Photographer. Eh, in one word: No. I am not on best terms with some of the staff at the Barrowlands. They will never allow me in with a digital camera. Also, this one time - i travelled to Glasgow to go see a show so i was staying over at a friends house and because i had hardly any money my mum made me like 6 sandwhiches, for the bus there, the day time, bus home just for the fun of it and because she's super sweet. (i had a big bag with me so it didn't bother me) and, i get searched at the door of the show and the security guy takes all 6 sandwhiches and puts them in the trash. I'm all "what the heck are you doing!?!" him: "you don't need these" me: "i bloody well do!! you idiot!!!" so i was hungry for the rest of my trip. sucks to be me. [EDIT]: INFACT, i remember after that i was telling my story to Eddie from taking back sunday (it was a tbs show) and he actually gave me money to allow me to buy more food. now if that's not nice, i don't know what is _________________ The Barents Sea |

My brother brought a water bottle with him to see The Rocket Summer last night, and this security guy threw it away without a word. Why do they have to do that? If it was me, I would get really mad because I'm diabetic and need to have access to food at all times, I might even fight back. _________________ ![]() j'ai pas envie d'être un robot, métro boulot dodo -Kelli |

Quote: I would get really mad because I'm diabetic and need to have access to food at all times, I might even fight back. That works...even for people who aren't...but I have no idea how it goes in England...in the US you can talk almost anyone into believing anything. Every club that is usually anti-photos on Eisley tours lets us take as many as we want. Then again, this is TBS and huge venues. |

Yeh well its often hard to remove it once you got it in there haha! I had once a backstage pass for a venue right next to the main venue (same venue people, just different room) I went into the main venue with my DSLR.. snook my way into front of barrier.. took about 5 before i was told to go lol.. Really, its good to pop a disposable in your back left pocket for gigs.. usually works! ^^ in the US.. im sure its easy to blag anything! _________________ Hi, I am a jolly old British lad. well, they don't allow drinks because kids will attempt to sneak alcohol in. as for food...that's really stupid, they shouldn't have to mess with that. _________________ cruiserweight |

If you are a girl and need to sneak in a camera.. you can always try sticking it in your shirt if the camera will fit. I'm totally serious, since they will probably be too embarassed and will almost never ask you to empty the top of your shirt lol.. hey it's worked for me before! |

Then when the first band is about to start and the lights go out, take it out and start snapping away ![]() _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice. So I'm not totally insane for doing that! I've gotten some strange looks from friends when I've done that before haha. And Deviluck, maybe you could buy a bra just for the purpose, stuff it, stick the camera in and wear a really baggy sweatshirt so your fake chest doesn't show... ![]() |
