The first 3 songs that popped into my head were: 1)Champagne Supernova-Oasis 2)How Soon Is Now- The Smiths 3)Dare You To Move- Switchfoot I don't know why those songs popped into my head... they're not my favorite songs or anything, it was just random. After I started thinking about them though, I realized they would actually sound really good with female vocals. Can you imagine Eisley singing "where were you while we were getting high" _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice. ...i honestly hope Eisley never releases a cover...but i'm thinking one at their show would be great...and yeah only because hearing them do some Neutral Milk Hotel would be sublime _________________ |

i'd rather hear original songs. Ditto. And I don't understand why last time this thread came around everyone wanted to hear them sing "A Few of My Favorite Things". I think that song is so Anti-Eisley. _________________ |

Yeah I'm not too big on covers but just for fun.... "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" - Elton John Couldn't you just hear it..."...I'm not a present for your friends to open; This (girl's) too young to be singing.....the bluuuues.....Ahhh-ahhh-ahh-ahh-ahhh...." I really can't think of two more though... |

I think if Eisley does a cover song, which I think they should, the choice will most likely be a huge surprise to all of us, nothing we would have ever predicted, thus making it so much cooler! And I think that like, it will only be lame if they do a ton of covers, but I think just doing one would work out good! And no matter what song they do, they will probably reinvent it and make it sound really "eisley", also making it cool. I dunno. that being said, I'd love to hear them do the song "Jumpers", by Sleater-Kinney! They won't do it, but it'd sound good "eisley"-ified. |
