So, I don't figure anyone really cares, but I thought I'd do a little blog about what the other half does while Eisley is off recording. Don't read any further unless you are EXTREMELY bored! Adjusting to them being gone is always a bit of a challenge. But, after the reality of them being gone falls in place.....I get busy. Adam arrived in Tyler on Thursday. He is actually a Tyler resident now. We spent all day yesterday, helping him get moved in. Boxes to be unpacked, shopping for shower curtains, dishes, etc., running in the middle of that to take pictures of the current progress on Sherri and Chad's house. It is going up beautifully....I keep looking to try and figure out where my room is? Me, Christie, Collin, Kayla, Jessica, and Adam all went to eat at one of the best restaurants in Tyler, called Julian's. We are friends with the owner, and he of course would not let us pay for our meal. He is too kind to us that way. I never ask if he is in, because he always treats us if he sees us there. Adam was going to pay since we were helping him get settled in, so it was a nice welcome to Tyler treat for him. With all the rock stars in my life out on the road, or recording, I was glad to have Adam fill in the blank. Can I really be seen around town without a rockstar? I think not! After our dinner break, we had a mini "help unpack boxes party", and that, along with moving in small bits of furniture, lasted until 2:30 a.m. Our friend Shay, (his dad is the band's Tae Kwan Do teacher), and crazy Tim from LuvBeat, came and helped move some furniture. By that time, we were all famished, so Kayla and Collin decided that we needed to stop at the store on the way home, and get toaster pastries for a snack before bed. At 3:30 a.m., I turned off the light, only to hear little Kayla whimpering a bit. She always gets emotional late at night, but at 8:45 this morning, she was bouncing out of bed for Jessica to take her to Tae Kwan Do. And...that's how exciting our life is with the band and Boyd gone. Today, we will finish helping Adam get settled. Have a great day everyone that read this boring account of "What the b-sides are up to" |

I love these little updates. You ought to have a Tales from Tyler blog for this purpose. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I hope the adjustment goes well, and thanks for the update. Sounds like it's fun to have a new friend in town. Keep bringing them in, and people might actually want to start living in East Texas. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

To be honest, I really hate helping people move. Of course, I don't understand when people are suddenly "busy" when I ask them to help ME move. I guess what I'm saying is... I don't know. It's very interesting to hear the Eisley story from your view Kim. Not a story...a reality...but not like reality TV Okay, I really don't know what I'm saying The Dupree's and Co. seem like a fun and wholesome bunch! |

That wasn't boring at all... a story about MY day would be boring because there wouldn't be any awesome people involved. _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice. I know it may not show on the color of my skin, but I know it’s in my heart and in my soul. –Sara Quin |

I like hearing too. Miss everyone back home. Of course, it's nice to be on a good phone plan; we can all talk for free anytime, day/night. Kayla has called me like 50 times... she sings songs (some new Jesse McArtney hip hop/pop song) and fills in the important stuff like: "there's a bug in Collin's room". But the real detail comes from Kim: "So this lady and her kid come at me with big smiles on an aisle in Walmart... so I'm getting ready to say, 'yes, that's Adam from TBS', but instead, she say's, 'are you Eisley's mom?'"... She still got the kid a TBS sig'. It's boring here. I'm just about finished with one of those "making of" Eisley video clips from the studio. B-sides aren't Boring. bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
