Ok, this is just a small little thing, but...

I went bowling the other day and I decided to go and check out the JukeBox they have in almost all bowling alleys here because the music they were playing was giving me a headache. It was this really cool new electronic computerized JukeBox where all you had to do is type in the artist you want. So of course I (not very hopefully) typed in Eisley and WHOOSH! They had it. No Room Noises, but all their EP songs. I put in a dollar and played memories. it helped my bowling score tremendously. Smile

I have this habbit that whenever I am put in front of a machine or search engine that lets you type in stuff, I always write Eisley, just to see what happens.

Border's Search- Eisley
JukeBoxes-Eisley
Google-Eisley
HowStuffWorks.com-Eisley

Anyway, I thought that was cool and I couldn't resist playing it in a bowling alley. Eisley is grooowwwiinnng...

Every time I go shopping, especially in new places, I compulsively check to see if they have any Eisley albums. I've never seen the EPs in town, but Room Noises is often there.

Yeah, I know, but now and then somebody mentions that they saw LC or MT (usually LC) at a local retailer.

Yep. I think they went out of print right around after Room Noises was released.

I still see many an EP around town. Maybe they never made their way up yonder (canada) when they were originally released. But thats pretty cool about finding the EPs at the bowling alley. The ones round here usually only have crap like Billy Idol and Macarena (which is fun to bowl to actually Cool )

Really?!?!
I always look for them whenever I go into a cd-selling store--with no avail!

But New Mexico is in the US??? Confused (or did you move?)

Anyways... "Room Noises" came out in Canada a good half a year after it was released in the U.S..

Geez, they opened AND headlined with Room Noises before the album even came out in Canada.

That's so awesome. I'm taking a bowling class right now I should check that on the jukebox ... if we even have a jukebox.

And I got lucky and bought both EPs when they were still around.. I love them! Especially the Laughing City one for some reason
