 Post subject: OGG needs help reloading some media filesPosted: Fri Dec 01, 2006 10:31 am 
the server hosting straylight6.org died today, the hosting provider is saying all data is unrecoverable. it's a nightmare (don't get me started) however, i have an alternate server setup and ready. But we need boardies to upload missing movies and mp3s. this is a standard FTP account hostname: ftp.savethescene.org username: straymedia@straylight6.org password: cihostsucks the account will stay active until we have all the missing files recovered then i'll shut it down and the broken links on OGG will be fixed. btw, the account has a quota so don't go filling it with porn thinking you're clever :P if you don't know what FTP is you can mail any files to me directly at chadtmp@savethescene.org also, you can use yousendit.com if you want Nora will post all the files we need below. _________________ "Religions have started on lesser revelations" - investor on MarketWatch.com |

 After I finally got all the links fixed and the videos up to date... *dies a little inside*

Since we're discussing OGG I thought I should mention something I noticed while downloading songs today, in the section with tracks from the first independent EPs, "Head Against the Sky" doesn't seem to work. The URL for it is:http://www.orangegoldandgreen.net/Videos/Eisley-EP1-Head_Against_th e_Sky.mp3 I saw the video part in there, so I changed it to Audio in my address bar and it loads in Windows Media Player, but I don't know how one would go about downloading it from there. |
