Just what I needed...right? So, it's been a week since the wreck...the one where some guy knocked our 15 passenger van, 14 feet, crunked the back end up, and slammed mine and Weston's heads on the back of the front seats. Weston recovered rather quickly. The impact was on my side of the van, and I was immediately dizzy, and messed up. The paramedics did not even check my pulse, or my BP, or take me in to the hospital, even though I was so dizzy, I could not lift my head up straight off of the seat, or really figure out what I needed to do. Anyway...so, as the days kept going by, I kept thinking..."ok, I'll feel better tomorrow." (after all, I did have 6 children with natural childbirth...pain is not a real concern to me.) But,...my head kept feeling dizzy, and I kept having dizzy spells, and headaches, and insomnia, and feeling really weak, and feeling kinda slow minded. So, I finally went and got checked out today, and they said I have PCS. MORAL TO THE STORY? GO TO THE FREKIN' HOSPITAL IF YOU GET HIT THAT HARD! Hopefully, meds, and rest will make it all better. They say the dizzy spells can last up to 3 months! grrrr! Stupid speeders! |

Jeez. I'm always scared when I drive in Tyler ... East Texas has some terrible drivers in general, though. I really hope you feel better soon. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Oh wow, I hope you feel better soon.. when I got my license the first thing my mom said was "I'm not scared that you can't drive.. I'm just scared everyone else can't drive." I've almost been hit a few times because someone was speeding or talking on their cellphone or not paying attention. It's crazy. |

Whoa, that bites. I hope those spells don't hit you anymore (even though they say it will happen for three months after), I just hope they don't! _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. Ugh I'm so sorry. I thought everything I'm going through is junk. I know you'll feel better very soon. I've never seen a Kim that has not overcome injury or pain OR sickness. _________________ happiest lion music |

Aww! I hope you feel better faster than they said...those paramedics tick me off sometimes Driving here is awful, it's kind of like "just expect someone to cut in front of you at any given moment without warning, and you MIGHT survive!!" _________________ To Write Love On Her Arms the world is poor because her fortune is buried in the sky and all her treasure maps are of the earth. |
