I think it's a cheaper guitar... more for beginners i think since i don't know how to play. It's a Kona. It's like this but mine was black and white.

If you're just learning how to play, then any guitar at all makes an awesome gift. The whole "christmas guitar from parents" thing is how I started playing as well. Congrats on getting Marvelous Things! Were there any tunes on there that you hadn't heard before? Cause if you hadn't ever heard The Winter Song, then getting it for Christmas is almost too perfect. _________________
