Hey everyone, I just got back from the Boulder show, it was fantastic. The guy from Hot Rod came out and played on Golly Sandra and I wasn't Prepared (the country vibe on Golly Sandra is GREAT! It's nice to hear a new musical direction from them), and also the singer from Brand New came out and sang the first verse of I Wasn't Prepared. His voice isn't quite as lovely as Sherri's, but what're you gunna do? Haha, anyway, here's the set - Mr. Pine Marvelous Things Sun Feet Golly Sandra I Wasn’t Prepared Memories Treetops Can't wait 'til Eisley is big enough to headline shows, a half hour isn't enough for me to feed my fix.... |

Ahhh! Sun Feet! You guys couldn't play that in Texas??? Just kidding, of course. But I sure would have loved to hear it live. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

absolutely BRILLIANT set...aside from some sound issues. here's my review and so forth. set was great, even though their sound guy sort of makes things tricky at times. they played their 7 songs, enjoyed themselves...i saw maybe 20 people singing anything...the crowd was all "indie" kids and kids with trucker hats. this dude behind my friend logan kept groping him and grabbing his ass. we nearly had a fight on our hands, lol. after their set they came to the foyer, and signed stuff for people. i walked up to sherri, Marvelous Things EP in hand, and she goes "have we met before?" i smiled and said "yepp. it was raining...red rocks." she goes "i knew you were totally familiar." good times. talked to everyone about almost everything...spent a good hour or so in the foyer. through HRC's set and into Brand New's. A thing about brand new's fans...theyre freakin RABID. Boyd and i discussed this at length, among many other things. After a bit, Chauntelle and Josiah headed down the street to get some coffee, we later ended up at the pub and Boyd, Wes and Jonathan followed. Spend a good hour and a half hanging out, talking, going over some pics and video i'd taken at the show on my iBook, giving Jonathan Radiohead's Towering Above the Rest compilation on his iPod. and chauntelle asked logan and i "have we met? you two look REALLY familiar." i guess i'm just a face you dont forget...or whatever. Then...boyd took us to the van and gave us some stickers and posters. This night was amazing. bottom line, THANK YOU GUYS, SO VERY MUCH. some lil memories
the rest of the pics are at http://jaywood.net/eisleyfox/Desktop.html WOO. again, thank you all, boyd, stacy, sherri, chauntelle, jonathan, weston, josiah, youre all great. take care, (in the last pic...i'm the one with the maketradefair shirt...that looks goofy. _________________ knives don't have your back. |
