Plus I hate how they yell when they're talking to someone

I just makes me think of Mel Gibson in Million Dollar Hotel. He was a douche in that film so whoever I see wearing one now is a douche too.

I could understand wearing one if you're doing alot of driving or something, but you do not need one at the supermarket. You just look stupid.

Yes, it absolutely does. And then people get all huffy when you look at them funny because they're talking to themselves on a street corner.

Plus, they remind me of the earpods from Doctor Who. Bluetooth will turn us all into Cybermen!

I think it's pathetic. I see these tools running around campus with those on.
You're not that important, you don't need your cell at a moments notice! I could understand if a doctor wore one, but a university student while eating lunch? No.

I think people feel important when wearing one, thus they wear one.

My mom wears one of those all the time. It's pretty annoying, but I wouldn't go so far as to call her pathetic. It's pretty annoying anytime she's using a phone, though.

somehow i always end up on the opposite side of the person that's wearing the device; so i always think i'm standing near an utterly crazy person who's talking to themselves... then i realize it's one of those stupid phones. it looks so Star Trek. That is NOT good.

my sister is a waitress where lots of business people come in. if they have one in and look like they are talking to themselves, she'll just pretend they are talking to her and respond to whatever they say. it's really rude to order food while you're talking on a cell phone.

them while looking in my direction: blah blah blah blah
me: what the hell are you talking about?
then they give me a look like _i'm_ the freak :eyeroll:

i know! or, worse still, i'm thinking "since when are crazy people so well dressed?"

It makes Jack Bauer's brother look even more like an evil twit.

I can understand if people need them, but I don't know if I'd ever use one in public unless I really had to. Maybe in a car ...

Most of the time when I see people wearing them, they're not even using them.

Listen, if you're someone who often receives unmissable phone calls while you're using both your hands and you don't have the time to stop either one for a brief moment, then get yourself a headset phone. If you're gonna get one so that you can look like a trendy high tech spaceman, then please swallow a knife because you're not cool, you're an idiot.
