Y' know I was playing around the other day, explaining to my friend why Eisley was better than DCFC (or at least in my opinion) and then I said "Death Cab is like Handel... but eisley is like Mozart." After that though, Ithought a little bit about it and discovered a surprising number of parellels: Both started at a youthful age, their fathers both had a big hand in their touring (kinda managed them), both were taught how to play their instruments by their parents.. Jus' something to fool around with. Any others? ![]() ![]() |

The thing about Mozart is that he wrote a jillion compositions in his head and transcribed them without a single eraser mark, knowing exactly what each piece would sound like before it was played. ![]() _________________ my name's carrie and i love a good sandwich so if you have a sandwich, come roll with me! ![]() i'm gonna marry the mars volta. |

okay, I get it.. you like handel better than mozart.. or Death Cab better than eisley, not sure. I happen to like eisley better than death cab and Mozart better than Handel. Although, I like Beehthoven better than both of them.. perhaps he's Neutral Milk Hotel or the Beatles? |

I like Handel better than Mozart. But I'm a Bach guy. Bach is Bach. _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that Handel drives me nuts because every time I have to play Hallelujah chorus I get queasy. And I play it once a year, singing in chorus and trombone in band... oh, this year I did it in orchestra, too. ![]() _________________ my name's carrie and i love a good sandwich so if you have a sandwich, come roll with me! ![]() i'm gonna marry the mars volta. |

Not in life stories, but as for as their music is concerned. Not that I can explain exactly how, but it fits. Yeah, oddly enough, I agree. Eisley goes well with Nutcrackers and sugarplum fairies. |
