Anyone take note that Eisley has nearly 125,000 MySpace friends? It's interesting how this has grown into a new layer of Eisley's online presence. Two years ago we had the forum as the prominent showcase of Eisley fandom. Now the MySpace has dwarfed it. Granted, I think LCers are generally the hardcore, dedicated crowd. But I think it'd be amiss to say that there aren't additional hardcore fans on the MySpace (or even just lurking on the forum). It'd be really interesting to be able to connect the crowds. Just thinking outloud. But then, I reckon that for every one true listener on myspace, there are maybe five or more who only really like the ones on the myspace and arn't actually massive fans... Or so says Joe from The Fallout Trust. And probably loads more. But still, that's aloooot of people. Probably tons of bands get tons of friends. I'm not sure. We get about 200 friends requesting to be added each day, which means that if I fall off the myspace wagon for a week, I'm pushing the 10 at a time button for 1400 people. Plus... I get pages and pages of messages per day. Thankfully, I've only recieved 2 negative comments after 1000's and 1000's of messages. I can't keep up. Problem is "spam". I have to go thru every comment and approve or dissaprove before posting. So much crap out there. But myspace is the primary tool for reaching the world right now. We have little outbreaks all over... but solid growth in the US, UK, Canada, Australia... and trailing to the rest of the world. Tons in Mexico and Malaysia.. Asia, lots breaking out in Europe. Wanna see breakdown in US? - hits in 1 month Interesting that our home state is neck and neck w/ CA also interesting - East coast, but total North vs South.
