As far as pointless arguing, unless I start locking every thread that gets caught in a loop, there's not much I can do. It does come down to that sometimes, but I try to avoid it. I would hope that some of this could come down to people taking things to PM's and IM's, or at least trying not to incessantly get the last word. I know people get upset, and I know people have passionate viewpoints, but moderation alone can't assure a good, friendly community. It's up to everyone. okay. |

I do and don't. I don't really have a database with violations and a magic number to bag people on. I do however remember a ton of things that have happened in the nearly four years I've been on this forum. So I generally remember when people cause trouble or whatever (and I receive various complaints and comments about behavior and such, so that helps), and I know when people have pushed it too far too much. That said, no regular user ever in the history of this forum has been suspended or deleted due to violations. (A troll and a couple of torublemakers. But no actual Eisley fans/actual forum members.) A couple have come very close, but none have quite made it. So I don't really pore over this, but I do pay attention.
