patrock wrote: Hmm? How is something "indie rock"? I'm using that word in a vague and subjective way. So thats kind of like asking... How is something "cool"? Also, some indie rock bands are dressy like that http://youtube.com/watch?v=j6OOA7niXOg but that doesn't neccesarily mean all indie rockers are like that, hence my explanation that its "vague and subjective". So basically it's my opinion. |

I'm wondering what the totes look like... I need one for school. Did anyone buy one? _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice. I know it may not show on the color of my skin, but I know it’s in my heart and in my soul. –Sara Quin |

You can explain how things are cool though. treetops12 wrote: I'm wondering what the totes look like... I need one for school. Did anyone buy one? Not big enough for school stuff. I mean, it fits a notebook but it's sorta small if you have a lot of things. |

indie - implies independent, not signed to a major label. Eisley is signed to a major label. I guess dressing indie rock today would be equivalent to dressing punk rock in the 80's (making a statement by looking out of the ordinary). Only thing is, if everyone is doing it, how independent is it really? |

Yeah, "indie" is generally used much more as a descriptor than literally these days. Much like when "alternative" was among the most popular types of music. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
