especially with the invasions of privacy (no pun intended)...can I ask if eisley used any sort of books (and which ones) when they learned their instruments / to learned how to write songs? don't want to seem nosy but i'm going to ask anyway cause this isn't really a personal question. or did they just look at a whole bunch of beatles songs (or whoever) and figured it out that way? (seems so from their song structures, vocal harmonizations, block chords, focus on melodies, some songs have characters and story telling -very paul) |

I think most of the song writing/harmony stuff is all homegrown. They might have taken instrumental lessons for awhile, I'm not sure. I'm sure Boyd or Kim probably know how to play about half the Eisley instruments anyway. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |

Actually... Boyd is a drummer and can play a little guitar. He can also harmonize with anything. He has a great ear for harmonies. I am a vocalist, and use to play guitar. Our kids far exceed us in musical ability. there were few lessons here and there, but most things were just home grown. |
