I haaaate the Lakes. I also hate Kevin Garnett and Nate Robinson (Nate played for Washington in college, I'm a huge Duck fan. Big rivals). I can't root for either team. I guess I hate the Lakers more, but I can't say I want Boston to win, either. I'm going to watch, but I'm pretty indifferent. I was extremely disappointed by the match-up...

If I HAD to root for someone, it's Rasheed Wallace. I've always loved 'Sheed since he was a Blazer.

Now what I actually think will happen is it will be a very close game, but the Lakers will pull it out. They're playing at home and have the best clutch player in the game, but Boston has the deeper bench and is better defensively. Boston's bench needs to have another good game and they need to contain Kobe and they will win, but I think the game will be close going into the 4th and Kobe will put the team on his shoulders and pull it out. I hate Kobe Bryant, but dammit I respect him. Damn good player. Since one of these teams has to win I'm hoping it'll at least be a great game. I'll be turning it off as soon as the final horn sounds, though. I don't want to watch either team celebrate.

Even if the Celtics win tonight, they stunk up the joint SO bad on Tuesday, that it won't feel like they really won.

I am not into the Lakers, but at least they put a fight in Boston when they were losing. After Boston won the last one in Boston, a commentator said that with boston shooting 60 some odd % and the the Lakers shooting about 36%, the Lakers were still in the game. He basically foreshadowed the Lakers STOMPING the Celtics if they ever got in a groove. My coworker thought the Celts would close it out cause he couldn't see the Lakers winning 2 in a row.

Me, I don't know, but if what so many people believe about "a fix" and staging this series to build the league on the History of this series. Since Boston closed out the last two series (cleveland, orlando) the same way the Lakers trounced them last game it will make sense that they lay down again tonight. Perkins being out might be a factor. But Bynum is hobbled too.

Truth be told, I think Ron Artest and Shannon Brown were the wildcards last game. If he has a great game without taking from the other Lakers, they are going to be hard to beat.

Me, I think to salvage the marketability of the finals, it almost has to go to overtime if not double overtime. If it does, the fix is in. At least a nailbiter and redeem the Finals. If it's just a lopsided game, it will hurt the league, and basically make Lebron James the King of the NBA and a bigger story than the 2010 champs, and they don't want that, cause He's gonna brake the bank, and it ain't gonna be pretty when he does (cause he's taking a few coaches and players along with him to heist the doe).

Put this here because it's basketball related, but Manute Bol died last night! He was only 47! Sad. I saw him play once when he was with Philly, at a Magic game! He wasn't that great a player, he mainly just blocked shots. He moved real funny though, like the aliens in Close Encounters of the Third Kind!
