i love it when bands sing about politics or relgion or spirituality, (which are my favorite topics), even if i don't agree with them. i think people should be passionate, and they should care. If eisley made a political song about world peace, universal health care, and clean energy I would love them even more. though that might be hard to write a song about health care reform. "imagine" is my favorite political song. Not just because of its pro peace message but also because its sweetly subversive. |

My Blackened Crown wrote: A political song would totally ruin them. I hate when bands drag their ideologies into their writing. I prefer making my own political decisions than having a band tell me what to think. You can express an opinion without forcing it on someone you know. |

Quote: Sister Stacy, 18 [...] simply explained, "We're young girls with big imaginations." that doesn't sound very stacy-ish... is this going to be another one of those "converse are like a portable canvas you can take everywhere!" things is it? _________________ "dial" in Welsh means "revenge". If a welsh speaker enters an English phone booth, having paid the coin/phone card the next command the l.e.d screen throws at the customer is "revenge!" thus setting the tone for a confrontational conversation. (thank you mogwai you are all nuts.) |
