Here's a little song I wrote today that I'd like to dedicate to Sherri DuPree. Of course this is probably really presumptious since I'm a newbie here and the girls of Eisley are such awesome songwriters themselves, but I'm not known for my great modesty anyways. I need to write some more verses, but here it is: (It does have a melody btw) *holds breath* Moments Like This Verse 1 On a morning like this You think that you could be pure again In a dawning like this You dream the world could be bright again But the shadows fall soon enough To drown out the echoes of love The glimpses you gained of heaven’s gate Are distorted by this world of hate Chorus But it’s mornings like this You’re living It’s moments like this You’re winning It’s moments like this You’re learning to fly High above the dark oceans of pain In a sky full of grace without shame In moments like this Bridge So hold on To your promise Hold on To your memories Just hold on To the blindness that leads you to truth To the light that is growing in you |

Aww, c'mon. So a song you wrote dedicated to Sherri and it's sung by your mom? Hmm, If I were Sherri I wouldn't care if you didn't sing well. You should sing it. I'm not forcing you or anything , but you definitley should. I wish I had a camera to use for Youtube.
